SD57 Nets Funding for Two Capital Projects

Prince George, B.C.- School District 57 has received $230 thousand dollars through the Province’s Routine Capital program for two projects.
Both projects will see improvements to the Polaris Montesorri Elementary school.
One, valued at $100 thousand dollars, will upgrade that school’s fire protection system. The other, valued at $130 thousand, will upgrade the school’s gymnasium heating and ventilation unit.
The projects are among 109 approved for funding through the Province’s Routine Capital Program. Projects were chosen based on need, priority and supporting student learning.
