Sowing a seed. Maybe it will grow. :-)
I attended this market and picked up a few items. There was not that much activity, however when we consider that this was the last week-end for shopping before Christmas, plus the fair at the Civic Centre, and the regular farmers market, plus other activities around town, one should not be surprised at the low turnout. Perhaps the next one will do better.
We also attended this market and picked up some nice fresh products from a vendor they had four kinds of potatoes , beets, turnips , red and green cabbage, carrots , another vendor had jams and fresh bread, another had jewelry I have never seen, another had cleaning cloths , I could go on and on. We stopped for a coffee and enjoyed butter tarts and gingerbread cookies from one of the vendors. It’s sad there was such a poor turn out as I am sure a lot of work went into putting it on, we had a good time.
