RCMP Execute Search Warrant in Williams Lake
Williams Lake, B.C. – Four men were arrested following the execution of a search warrant on a residence in Williams Lake Friday.
Constable Andrew Waters says the men were apprehended just after 11am in a home in the 1100 block of 2nd Avenue North.
He says police targeted the home because the occupants are known to police and that firearms may have been involved.
Waters says a search of the home, which included the assistance of the North District Emergency Response Team, yielded drug paraphernalia.
Since the arrests all four males have been released from custody and the investigation is currently ongoing.
In the meantime he says the Williams Lake RCMP remains committed to enforcing laws against illicit drugs.
Anyone with information about drug trafficking is asked to call the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
