Prince George, B.C. – Delegates to the BC Teachers Federation annual general meeting have selected Glen Hansman of Vancouver as their new president.

Hansman (right) will take over July 1^st, replacing Jim Iker of Burns Lake, who served three one-year terms.  And the 700 delegates also elected Teri Mooring of Quesnel as first Vice-President.

There were three candidates running for the position of second Vice-President and Clint Johnston of Chilliwack took that position on the second ballot.

There are seven contestants for the four members-at-large spots at the AGM in Vancouver.
