Hansman Elected BCTF President

Prince George, B.C. – Delegates to the BC Teachers Federation annual general meeting have selected Glen Hansman of Vancouver as their new president.
Hansman (right) will take over July 1st, replacing Jim Iker of Burns Lake, who served three one-year terms. And the 700 delegates also elected Teri Mooring of Quesnel as first Vice-President.
There were three candidates running for the position of second Vice-President and Clint Johnston of Chilliwack took that position on the second ballot.
There are seven contestants for the four members-at-large spots at the AGM in Vancouver.
