Mounties Search for $200,000 in Stolen Equipment
Prince George, B.C. – Stolen equipment totaling $200,000 has been snatched from a work site located along Highway 16 West near Isle Pierre Road.
Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says the goods were reported stolen yesterday morning and notes they were taken sometime overnight.
The equipment includes:
– A red 1997 Freightliner tractor bearing BC licence plate ES7250 with “Blue Max Drilling” on the side.
– A black 40′ Kaufman low bed flat deck trailer bearing BC license plate 70417D
– A white ‘sea-can’ container that was on the trailer
– A yellow 2010 John Deere skid tractor model 323D on tracks
– Pipes and other drilling equipment were also on the trailer
Douglass says investigators are asking people in communities throughout northern, B.C. to be on the lookout for these items.
