Prince George BC – The two people who died following an interaction with the RCMP in Granisle last week  have been identified

The BC Coroners Service says the deceased are  39 year old Jovan Williams and his 73 year old mother Shirley Beatrice Williams, both of Granisle.

RCMP were called to a home in Granisle  in the early afternoon of April 21st.  Just before 3 pm shots were fired . Paramedics attended the scene but both persons were deceased.

The BC Coroners Service and the IIO continue to investigate this matter
