Fire on Ross Crescent

Flames rage behind a home on Ross Crescent – photo 250News
Prince George, B.C. – Prince George Fire Rescue attended the scene of a fire on Ross Crescent this afternoon.
A column of thick black smoke rose above the City around 2:40. Crews arrived to find a fully involved garage fire into the back side of the home but were able to quickly knock it down.
One person was home when the fire started and was able to escape without injury.
An investigation into the fire is in its early stages but Assistant Fire Chief Darrell Kloschinksy says early indications suggests it started in the garage.
Damage is estimated at $70,000.
