Mounties Recover Stolen Bike
Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George RCMP have arrested a 26-year-old Prince George man in connection with a bike theft last week.
The theft occurred in front of a fast food restaurant on Domano Boulevard near Highway 16 last Wednesday. A teenage male had left his bike outside and returned to find someone riding away with it.
Police made the arrest yesterday morning and recovered the bike – a red and black Specialized P26 mountain bike valued at $1,500.
“The male was arrested without incident,” says Corporal Craig Douglass. “The bike was missing some parts and was in the process of having the paint and decals removed when police arrived. Police are still looking for the person believed to be responsible for the theft.”
Douglass describes the suspect as a First Nations female, approximately 25-years-old who was wearing a long sleeve red jacket, blue jeans and carrying a black back.
If you have any information about this case, you are asked to call police.

I have to wonder who’s kid owned this bike? Seriously, there’s been a lot of media coverage for this one little bike. Joe Average would have to fight to get a police file opened.
Why bother even looking for the female? Even 1 hour of police time spent on this will not be worth the “punishment” she will receive.
