Prince George, B.C. – From popcorn and pottery to handmade jams and ceramics, there’s something for everyone at the 13th annual Artisans of the North Fair at UNBC this weekend.
Hundreds of people have made their way up University Way to attend the two-day event which features over 90 artisans – including 26 new vendors this year.
Kim Hayhurst, co-owner of Hunter and Thistle Creative, says today is the busiest she’s seen it.
“We’ve been going non-stop. It’s something that people plan for every year.”
She says it’s extremely popular for one main reason: “The quality of products here are of a calibre that people are looking for.”
The event runs runs from 10-4 today and tomorrow. Parking and admission is free.
