Prince George, B.C. – An investigation is underway into a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian last night.
Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says it happened just after 5:30 on 5th Avenue near Ogilvie Street.
“Initial indication was that a 19-year-old male was walking in the marked crosswalk when he was struck by the driver of a small SUV,” he says. “The driver stopped and remained on scene.”
Douglass says the victim did not appear to suffer any injuries but was transported to hospital as a precautionary measure.
He adds the investigation is ongoing and that charges are likely.
