Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect
Prince George, B.C. – Mounties are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating an armed robbery suspect.
RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says it’s in relation to an incident that occurred yesterday at around 1:45 p.m. on the 1700 block of Strathcona Avenue.
“Police attended and found that a 31-year-old male was walking in the area when he was bear sprayed and robbed of his $40 cash by a lone male suspect,” he says. “The suspect fled the area previous to police being called. All efforts to locate the suspect were negative. The investigation is continuing.”
The suspect is described as follows:
- Caucasian male
- 188 cm (6’2”)
- Slim build
- Wearing a black jacket with white and blue stripes, a red bandana around his neck, blue jeans and white shoes
