Prince George, B.C. – A major break for the Prince George RCMP.

Cpl. Craig Douglass says police in Alberta located Rupert Willam Burr Tuesday night.

Burr was wanted Canada wide for sexual offences that occurred in Prince George in 1993.

He says Burr will be held in custody and transported back to Prince George where he will make his first court appearance next week.

In the wake of this arrest, Douglass says the RCMP want to thank members of the public for providing information that may have helped police.
