Prince George, B.C. – It was all smiles in the paediatric ward at the University Hospital of Northern B.C. this morning.

Santa Claus and his helpers were there handing out gifts for those laid up in hospital during the holidays.

“There’s nothing worse than a sick child so a little Christmas cheer will hopefully help in the recovery,” noted Santa.

15-year-old Nadeen Alhaddad said his efforts were greatly appreciated.

“Yeah, it’s great. I’m really happy.”
