AQ Advisory Continues

Prince George, B.C. – The Air Quality Advisory for Prince George issued yesterday, remains in place.This morning, the 24 hour rolling average of PM 2.5 concentrations was at 31 micrograms per cubic meter. The Provincial target is 25 µg/m3.
While the weather is expected to change with a warm front arriving later today, it is not clear if it will be enough to clear the air of pollutants.
The Air Quality Advisory issued for Vanderhoof also remains in place, as the readings there this morning pegged the 24 hour average of PM2.5 concentrations at 55 µg/m3.
The Air Quality advisory that had been issued for Smithers has now been rescinded
