In partnership with Science World, its hosting the city’s first ‘Community Science Celebration.”
It’s being held in the museum’s atrium where it’s been standing room only much of the day.
“We have invited a whole bunch of local science organizations to come and to just share with the community what they’re doing, the research that they’re doing, the science that they do and make it as fun and hands-on as possible,” says deputy director Amanda Smedley. “There’s exhibitor booths and we’re also doing stage shows every hour.”
There’s fun for all ages – from DNA extractions by Genome BC to slime making demonstrations by UNBC’s Chemistry Club.
The fun continues until 4 this afternoon.
