RCMP Arrest Third Suspect in Double Murder Case
Prince George, B.C. – A third suspect is now in police custody in relation to yesterday’s double homicide near the intersection of Foothills Boulevard and North Nechako Road.
Police say at approximately 4:40 p.m. this afternoon the Prince George RCMP with the assistance of the North District Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant in the North Nechako Trailer Park – nearby yesterday’s crime scene – where they apprehended the individual.
Police say the search continues for additional suspects.
Earlier today police confirmed that 27-year-old Aaron Ryan Moore and 33-year-old Joshua Steven West were each charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder with a firearm. Both were to appear in court today.
All of this after police responded to a case of shots fired just after 2:30 a.m. yesterday around Foothills and North Nechako and found three adult males inside a vehicle.
Two of them were deceased at the scene while a third suffered non-life threatening injuries due to gunshot wounds.
Police have called a press conference to discuss the case further at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Prince George RCMP detachment.
