Prince George, B.C. – It’s one of the major highlights of the winter calendar in Prince George and the 10^th annual event kicks off Friday night – Coldsnap 2017.

Things get started with a free outdoor concert in Canada Games Plaza at 7:30 p.m. and will carry through to February 11.

Artistic director Sue Judge says festival goers can enjoy a wide range of musical genres – from world music, dance and folk and even a kids show Feb. 5 at the Prince George Playhouse.

“Just a week of great music both in the evenings with concerts, a couple of nights are dance and some free workshops throughout the week.”
