Prince George, B.C.- Jesse Gabrielle recorded a Gordie Howe hat-trick to lead the Prince George Cougars to a 4-1 victory over the visiting Vancouver Giants before 2,511 fans at CN Centre last night.

Gabrielle’s goal – his 26th of the season – went along with two assists and a first period scrap.

The Cats outshot the Giants 33-26. The win snapped a two-game losing streak and was their 37th victory of the year.

The teams play again tonight at 7.
