Prince George, B.C. – Motorists are reminded that crews with the City of Prince George are clearing roads throughout the city on both the day and night shifts right through the holiday weekend.
As per the Snow and Ice Control Council Procedure they start with clearing priority one and priority two routes and aim to be completed within 48 hours following the end of the snowfall.
Next, crews will begin clearing priority three routes including streets in residential areas, depending on weather conditions. The goal is for crews to complete all priority three routes within 72 hours following the completion of priority one and priority two routes.
Motorists are asked to refrain from parking on the street, be patient and drive cautiously around road crews.
