Police Seek Suspect in Indecent Acts
Prince George, B.C.- RCMP in Prince George are calling on the public to help identify the suspect ( or suspects) involved in three indecent acts that have taken place in Prince George.
The most recent incident happened around 4 yesterday morning near the corner of Patricia Boulevard and Queensway in Prince George.
The suspect male approached an adult female and asked for directions. As the female began to provide directions, the suspect exposed himself. The female fled without further incident.
The suspect is described as:
- South Asian male
- Approximately 25 years old
- 173 cm (5’8″)
- Slim build
- Slight beard and mustache
The suspect was wearing a grey and black plaid zip hoody, dark jeans and dark shoes. It is believed that he was also wearing a black turban under the hood of his hoody.
There have been two similar incidents reported to police in late January. On January 30th, 2017, RCMP received a report of a South Asian male that had exposed himself to an adult female at a local liquor establishment near 3rd Avenue and Dominion Street in Prince George. The incident occurred earlier on the weekend and was not immediately reported.
Also on January 30th, 2017, police received a report of a South Asian male that exposed himself to an adult female outside her residence near Ferry Avenue and Massey Drive in the early hours of the morning. When the incident occurred, the victim immediately went into her residence and the suspect fled the area on foot. Police were not immediately called.
It is vital to public safety that incidents like these be reported immediately to police. In fact, all criminal offences and suspicious occurrences should be reported at the earliest possible time in order to provide the greatest chance of positive results.
Investigators would like to identify and locate the person or persons responsible for these incidents. Anyone with any information about the person or persons involved, is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477.
The RCMP should hire a sketch artist so ladies would know what to lookout for
Concealed carry would be more effective.
Poor offenders, maybe justice and society has done them wrong! Far as I am concerned I hope they meet a lady that will give him a good whooping, like Rhonda Rousey! LOL
Lets not be too quick to judge, he could have been potty trained too early. He is probably just in need of a hug.
Bwahahahaha! Nice one!
Exhibitionistic disorder involves exposing one’s genitals or sexual organs to a non-consenting person. This condition falls under the psychiatric category of paraphilic disorders, which refer to persistent and intense atypical sexual arousal patterns that are accompanied by clinically significant distress or impairment. Exhibitionistic disorder was referred to as exhibitionism in previous versions of the DSM.
There are several subtypes of exhibitionistic disorder, and these depend on the age of the non-consenting person to whom someone with exhibitionistic disorder prefers to show their genitals. For example, the preference could be to show genitals to prepubescent children, adults, or both. Some people may deny that they show their genitals to unsuspecting others or deny that this act causes them distress; if they have indeed exposed themselves repeatedly to non-consenting people, they may still receive a diagnosis of exhibitionistic disorder.
The prevalence of exhibitionistic disorder is unknown, but is thought to be approximately 2 percent-4 percent in the male population. This condition is less common in females, although prevalence estimates are unknown.
Got the definition for sure, what is your stance on it? Heck of an explanation for sure!
That’s the problem these days, everyone blames their actions on a “disorder”, maybe the guy is just a pervert. Kids misbehaving are diagnosed with ADHD, no your kid is probably just a brat.
Very good definition Ataloss. So this person has a mental illness, and the Alt Righties on here are making fun of a person with a mental illness… what else is new?
Studies have shown, people with substance abuse issues are more likely to have been traumatized and abused as children which is why they self medicate, but that hasn’t stopped some on here from calling these traumatized people wastes of skin and scum of the earth.
Real keyboard heros we have here.
So BH, everyone that whips out their wang has a mental illness, and you know this how?
Read the definition again .
Waiting with baited breath…………LMAO!
Here is some reading material that should help you understand issues around mental health and addiction. Be forewarned, reading it might make you more informed on the subject, which could result in you posting more meaningful comments on here.
so your assumptions are far more accurate than others assumptions?
What else besides a mental illness would explain why a person feels a compulsion to display his or her genitals to an unsuspecting passerby?
Agree but don’t you also find it odd that one wants to know ” what’s your stance ? ” . The other asks ” how do you Know it’s a mental illness ?” . If one thinks normal people practice this behaviour , you also have a problem . What’s my stance ? Well I’m not for more mental illness . I just see reality as it is .
The wanting to know your stance on this issue, or taking sides, is a Conservative construct. We have seen this behaviour before as in; “if you are not for this Internet Spy Bill then you are with the pedophiles.”
A ridiculous notion of course, but the either or approach is the simplest, and causes them less confusion. We all know the world, and its many issues, are very complex, so making it all black and white, for or against, makes them sleep better at night.
Been Human once again is showing his ‘Scotties Little Softie side’! Glad he doesn’t run the country, we would be in a world of hurt! All criminals would get a free pass because he would find an excuse to let them off the hook! Every case has its merits as to the pros and cons. sometimes wonder if he just does this to stir the pot!
At some point we stopped taking responsibility for our actions. “It’s not my fault, I have a disorder!” Not much comfort to the victims of such people. The result is a weak kneed justice system.
Could be drunk or high on something. Could be sick if dating sites. Could be too hot. Could be he got a good laugh out if it. Could be mentally ill. Until the person is assessed a mentally ill diagnosis cannot be made with any certainty. If he does in fact have a mental illness it just manifested itself Jan 30th and nothing before that date? People do weird things when under the influence of narcotics and that would be my first guess. Someone with a mental illness would be know to social workers and as soon as the story breaks they would have an idea of who it is.
Totally agree slinky, there are workers around and if he does have a tendency to flash himself there might be 2 workers just in case! I think they would know the ramifications if they didn’t look after him Properly! As for drugs and all the rest of that crap, hit them hard and fast, these are excuses! If they use this as an excuse double the time, fine or whatever!
Odds are this person needs mental health counselling, and everyone here knows it.
Still doesn’t mean he has a mental illness
So BH, I don’t see much point in the RCMP wasting their time going after this guy, after all if you can lop off a guys head and eat it on a bus and be walking the streets under an assumed name within 6 years what will the punishment be for waving your willy? After all it is not his fault, he has a mental illness!! Good ‘ol Liberal “Hug a Thug” mentality.
The Norwegians have it right, not exactly “hug a thug” but they do treat their criminals like people. Oh, did mention Norway has the lowest prisoner reoffending rate in Europe? And for those released from Bastoy Prison only 16% reoffend, making it the lowest in Europe.
Criminals are people, treat them like people, and the odds of them reintegrating back into society greatly increases.
Punishing a man, tends to get the man mean, treating him like a person gets better results. No doubt about it Norway is light years ahead of our backwards, barbaric, justice and incarceration system. It’s time we took a more mature and civilized approach.
Aka ‘Hug a thug’.
