Prince George, B.C. – RCMP in Prince George say the incident  in the 5900 block of the Hart Highway  has ended without incident.

Early this morning,  police responded to the residence,  and  because there was a firearm involved, evacuated neighbouring homes.

Details of the incident have not been made public,  but Prince George RCMP  say the  matter has been resolved without incident.
