Police Seek Robbery Suspects
Prince George, B.C. – Mounties are seeking the public’s help in identifying two people involved in a robbery last month.
It occurred at around 8 p.m. on Friday February 3 at a major retail chain on Southridge Avenue in College Heights.
Male suspect
Police arrived to learn that a man, accompanied by a woman, had attempted to leave the store with an unpurchased remote control car when he was asked to produce a receipt.
The man failed to do so and when confronted by staff pulled out a can of bear mace and sprayed it at the employee, hitting him once.
The two suspects fled in the back seats of a newer model grey Chrysler 300 or Sebring and left the area with the remote-control car – valued at about $100.
The male suspect is described as:
- Caucasian
- 20-25 years old
- Athletic build
- Five foot eight
- Clean shaven
- Wearing a black hoodie with white lettering and black pants with while lettering.
Female suspect
The female is described as:
- First Nations
- Five foot seven
- 100 pounds
- Wearing a black coat, black hoody and carrying a large tan or brown purse.
