Prince George, B.C.- The Regional District of Fraser Fort George has  approved its budget for 2017,  and  it calls for  operating  expenses of  just over $46 million dollars.

Of that budget,  nearly half  ($20.4 million) will be eaten up by solid waste management. Other significant   expenditures are:

  • Protective Services  ($5.7 million,)
  • 9-1-1 Emergency Response Services $3.5 million,  and
  • Recreation and Cultural Services  representing $3.6 million.
