Bob Dylan Coming to CN Centre

Monday, March 20, 2017 @ 7:55 AM

Prince George, B.C.-  One of the most influential musicians  in the past 50 years,  will be  playing  the CN Centre  this July.

Bob Dylan,  will take to the stage  on Saturday, July 22nd.

Dylan is credited with being  an inspiration to many of the  folk and rock groups of the  ’60’s and  ’70’s .  Rolling Stone writes ” Dylan has  been both deified and denounced for his shifts of interest, while whole schools of musicians took up his ideas. His  lyrics — the first in rock to be seriously regarded as literature — became so well known that politicians from Jimmy Carter to Vaclav Havel have cited them as an influence.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 24, 2017, at 10:00 am, at all Ticketmaster outlets

I saw Bob Almost 30 years ago and wasn’t able to recognize most of the songs he performed that night. In my opinion he has become a parody of himself

Very influential and respected song writer for sure . Not a fan of him as a musician .

Hopefully he’ll show up. I’d go but have other commitments.

I saw him play in Vancouver in the mid 80’s. It wasn’t that great a show and I can’t imagine that Bob at 76 will be any more entertaining.

Were not helping ticket sales here but by the other comments you might get a chuckle out of this . To the BIL Dylan is god , has drug my sis to every Van. show since the 80’s . They always show up late missing the opening act cause there is nobody else worth seeing . I think it was the last one when over half the place was leaving as they arrived . Sis asks somebody whats up , they tell her Mark Knofler just finished his show . BIL asks who’s he .

Dean Brody, where are you?

I saw him receiving an award when they were doing the Grammys! He was actually being telecast from Australia or somewhere nearby so he didn’t come! He was so stoned or was drinking that he was slurring his words, talking incoherently and basically out in space. From then on I would think the man a big joke! Granted he was a trend setter, but I wouldn’t waste my money on him! Hope the show is good for the people that buy tickets!

…and if Bob could respond to what you’ve just said, he would probably say

    “Jeeeeeguulllaaammmbeeeeenwheezafrumalingazipadoppagreeeestuuupeuisii!

And you’d look a the person next to you and ask, “what the *&%$ did he say?” haha!
