Four Arrested in Stolen Vehicle Case

Prince George, B.C. – Four suspects are in police custody following a report of a stolen vehicle.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says the 1997 Ford Explorer was reported stolen at 6:30 a.m. yesterday from a residence on Arnett Avenue.

Later that day he says police received a report of the same vehicle occupied and parked near First Avenue and Tabor Boulevard.

He says officers, including a Police Dog Service team, attended the area only to have the suspects flee the truck on foot into a near-by park.

Douglass says all four were arrested and taken into custody a short time later.

He says a 22-year-old male, 23-year-old male, a 41-year-old female and a 17-year-old male were held in custody overnight and may be facing charges. The investigation is continuing.
