Prince George, B.C. – Donna Antosko says her $1 million Lotto Max win still hasn’t quite sunk in yet.
The retired homemaker from Prince George bought the winning ticket last week at the Save-On-Foods on the Hart and discovered she was a winner when she went to check her ticket on Sunday.
Today she’s at the BC Lottery Corporation’s office in Kamloops claiming her prize.
“I was in shock, I really didn’t believe it at first. I’m still kind of numb about it,” she told 250News.
So, how does she plan to use the money?
“We plan to help our kids of course. We have two daughters and two granddaughters. I’ll upgrade my truck and fifth wheel. I need to think about it.”
Antosko says she buys tickets around once a month. The BCLC says the odds of winning a Lotto Max jackpot or Maxmillion prize are one in 28,633,528 per play.
