Prince George, B.C. – Prince George RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating 51-year-old Phillip Thompson Cooper.

Cooper – who recently relocated to Prince George from Terrace – is wanted for two Criminal Code offences: theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.

“The warrant stems from a May 19, 2017 incident where police received a report of a suspicious male trying to open vehicle doors on Gorse Street in Prince George,” says Cpl. Craig Douglass.

“Officers attended, located and arrested Cooper inside an unlocked vehicle that did not belong to him. He was also found in possession of stolen items believed to be from other vehicles. The incident occurred just after 5 a.m.”

Cooper is described as:

  • First Nations male
  • Five feet seven
  • 150 pounds
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • He has several tattoos on both arms and an amputated right index finger

Douglass says Cooper is well known to police and should be considered violent. He is known to carry weapons and if located, he is not to be confronted. Call 911 instead.
