Prince George BC – A temperature record for July 6th in Prince George that was set in 1920 still stands.
The high today hit 30.1 just two tenths of a degree short of matching the 30.3 record set on this date 97 years ago.
The forecast calls for another warm one tomorrow with a high of 30 but there is a 40% chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon.

Proof the carbon tax is working. Those rent seeking climate scientists up the hill must feel vindicated.
CKPG reported on the news today that we broke the 1920 record temperature
I think their report earlier in the day actually said Prince George was still in line to break the record. The highest temperature was recorded at 6 pm and was 30.1
1920 to 1929 the age of mechanization . How ironic . In with a bang . Out with a ?
Out with a world that could produce more than enough to enable everyone an abundant material standard of living, but could only sell what had already been produced in bountiful abundance by making still more of it.
And to the extent man has any effect on a warming temperature at all, that’s still our problem today. But does anyone who is so vocal about climate change, and convinced only taxing us all further can somehow mitigate any of its ill effects, ever want to look at THAT? Scant evidence they do.
And the answer to “Out with a …?” Well, in 1929, and ever since, it wasn’t changing the way the accounting works to make it reflect the physical facts of the mechanisation which put an end to the curse of actual scarcity. It was to pretend that we’re still living in a world of scarcity where we should “…let no man eat unless he has first worked.”
Ataloss, back the truck up on Tesla, here’s your opportunity to back up your years of nonsensical renewable energy drivel.
