Cache Creek BC – A wildfire is posing imminent threat ro the village of Cache Creek.

Mayor John Ranta has declared a  local state of emergency  and all residents have been ordered to leave.

Residents have been advised to turn off the electricity and natural gas in their homes.  Residents have been advised to head to Kamloops where a reception centre has been set up at the McArthur Island Sports Lounge on Island Parkway in Kamloops.
