Greetings for Returnees

Williams Lake, B.C. – Evacuees who took advantage of the rescinding of an order that forced them from their Williams Lake homes on July 15th received a warm welcome as they returned to their community.
The very folks who have been protecting property and securing the area to ensure property was safe while owners were away, took the time to fashion their own welcome home sign, shown above.
RCMP and the Canadian Armed Forces positioned this welcome sign alongside highway 97.

ELAINE !!! STOP IT !!! … every time I read one of your fire Evac stories… I find myself choking up and tearing up and spilling tears of empathy … then I gotta go wash my face.
I suspect I am not the only one who has to do so.
But….. Thanks for all your excellent work.
V.
Stories of altruism in action, of sympathy and empathy, of generosity and caring, of friendship and hard working volunteers are worthwhile reading, positive and reassuring. I much prefer them to negative stories. Please keep reporting about the positive side of humanity!
Help me on this one. There are 500,1000 men, fire trucks, water guns, helicopters and water bombers scooping water off lakes and then there is the family that saved there home with a garden hose.
Is this another story were, “Creaser didelld while Rome burned”
Cheers
Either someone missed taking their meds, or he/she really needs to live up to their name and “Retire” from making nonsensical comments, or at the very least learn how to either spell or use spell-check.
Creaser? Didelld?
