Labour Groups Celebrate at City Hall

Prince George, B.C. – Dozens of union members from a variety of organized labour groups took to Veterans Plaza in front of City Hall today to mark Labour Day.
Kicking off the event was a march through downtown.
Representatives from The B.C. Federation of Labour, Canadian Labour Congress and multiple local unions including the United Steelworkers, BCGEU, CUPE and the Prince George and District Teachers Association were on hand for the event.

There was something for everyone, including a petting zoo for little folks, food, and of course a bouncy castle.
A couple of familiar faces in the crowd included members of Council , Susan Scott, Garth Frizzell and Terri McConnachie.
