Highway 16 Closed Due To Fatal Crash

Prince George, B.C. – Valemount R.C.M.P responded to a call of a multi-vehicle collision that has taken the life of three people approximately one kilometer east of Tete Jeune scales on Highway 16 at 11:25 today.
Two were pronounced dead at the scene, a third person has since succumbed to their injuries.
 
Two people had been critically injured,  one of them a girl under the age of ten, it is not known is she was the one who has since died.
 
There were four vehicles, including a motorcycle,  involved in the crash.
 
Names of the deceased are not being released at this time until next of kin have been notified.
 
Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
 
Highway 16 will remain closed for several hours. An update is expected around 7:00 tonight.
