Prince George, B.C. – Water: check, giant sized slurpie: check, PGX stuffed animal: check, life size popcorn: CHECK! These are just some of the ingredients that make the PGX. 
 
Westcoast Amusements has been added to the fun roster this year to increase the selection of rides in the midway. Opinion 250 checked in with kids and…bigger kids to get reviews of the midway this year.
 
 
Mathius McKay, 4 (right) has had no problem spending 2 hours on the smaller rides while his family watches on the sidelines and tours the grounds.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Darrian Fleury, 14, Will Erickson, 10 and Justice Fleury, 9 take a whirl on the Berry Go Round (left) and are now off to PG Idol, “We have been here all day so now it is time to do what my Aunt would like to.”
 
 
 
 
 
To some, trying out the Cliffhanger, Zipper and Skymaster should warrant awards of bravery.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Karen Omit and her daughter Crystal Omit, come off the Skymaster (right) with different looks than when they started, “It is a good thing I have not eaten yet. It is not as bad as the skyscraper however, there are people walking around without shirts right now because there was a bit of an accident.”
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Sisters Karly Tessier, 11 and Kasey Tessier, 9 have stopped after a few hours to refuel at the snocone maker.
 
For those who are not fond of the rides, the traditional games and various booths of entertainment are still part of the midway.
