Prince George, B.C. – Crews will be  back at the rubble that used to be the Columbus hotel today, continuing their search for two missing people and evidence of the cause of the fire that has already claimed one life.
RCMP Inspector Kirk Hopkins says there is no evidence at this point to suggest the fire had been deliberately started “We are just carefully going through the site first to make sure it‘s safe.”
A special RCMP investigator from the lower mainland is taking part in the investigation.

What does a special RCMP investigator know about fires? And why is he or she so special?Don't we the taxpayers already pay for investigators right here in our own backyard?I predict we will be staring at yet another burn out building downtown for at least a year, that should help the tourism dont you think?
Did u not read the first few lines, they are there to find the two missing people and one of those people happens to be a friend and all people care about is the political side of things...
That's not true of everyone, L&L
metalman.
I still have a very hard time comprehending the fact that people lost their lives in this fire...I so hope that they do NOT find any bodies in the rubble...what a bloody nightmare!

But I do agree that this building will remain burnt out for ages. Not sure what the hold up is once the investigation is over...maybe that takes a few years??? It just seems to me that PG seems to be very prone to fires lately...it seems a bit strange...a streak of very bad luck perhaps...or not...?
Ya I know metalman, was just a little upset, sorry, if I sounded like I was lashing, just kinda tired of the bull that was being said about the Bus!!
Have a good weekend,everyone!
Did they ever find the cause of fire in Bank of Montreal in 2003 or the more recent fire in the Canfor?
