Prince George, B.C. -Margaret Metzger hit a single to left field to life the Kelowna women 55 slo pitch team to a lead against the Southern Swoop from Surrey.

Women's slo pitch was opne of the many events on today at the Seniors Games. Slo pitch continues  tomorrow at both the Nechako and Carrie Jane Gray fields from 8:30 till noon

This evening, there will be a banquet for the participants, to be followed  by a  performance by impersonator Tracey Bell, and a dance  featuring the Blues Rock Band.

Topmorrow,  sporting events continue till  noon,  the closing ceremonies are set for 3:00 and an appreciation party for the cvoplunteers is set for 5:30.
