Different kind of gas...
Ten cents lower in the lower mainland (including the transit tax) . How come?
we are subsidizing down south I think there willow...or so it appears....
But I am thankful for the lower price....anything is better that what it was....but isn't Campbell about to pounce again with his carbon tax?
It's 75 cents in Edmonton and 74 cents in Ottawa. Oil companies are full of crooks.
BCracer, these lower prices kind of throw a wrench in Campbells logic. If a 7 cent carbon tax is supposed to lower consumption what happens if gas stays around 90 cents a liter? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize 90 cents a liter is much lower then 1.45. This recent price drop has wiped out his useless tax seven times over. How is it reducing green house gases?

Gotta pay for your health care somehow. Gotta pay for all those immigrants who are sucking on the welfare tit. Gotta pay for all those lazy ass government "workers" who are sucking on the taxpayer's tit. Gotta pay all those teachers who are sucking on the taxpayer's tit. (goodness me! they work what? 6 hours a day? they get what? 3 months vacation? and still they whine...). Gotta pay yadda, yadda, yadda. Let's just vote NDP and end it all now...
My F350 is looking more and more like a good investment. Kidding. Don't go back to the gas guzzlers people. This relief won't last.
Doesn't matter how low gas gets, people will always find a way to complain.

Hey, how come my grocery bill hasn't gone down as well? I remember the grocery stores justifying huge cost hikes on the back of gas price increases... well, it still seems we're getting gouged on that front.
The price of gas is a no-brainer; greed.

I'm waiting for the Olympics to fail miserably so we can shove it in Campbells face. Regardless of what happens, lets not bring in the NDP again to make it worse. What was z00p thinking? I'd vote for for Daffy Duck first!
The NDP cant be worse than this Government supertech!
And what do you do for a living zoopdingle.
90.5 works out to around 4:00 a gallon. Still seems pretty high me...
At $49.00 per barrel we should be around 70 cents p/l
My vote goes to the candidate [read party leader or independant] that commits to fixing our fuel prices at no more than 10% above the lowest prices in Canada. If they can sell it for 75 in Edmonton they can sell it for 82 here....and still make a healthy profit.
why not the same price. The last I heard there are no producing oil wells in Edmonton. All their crude is piped into the refinerys just like here. Once in the pipe it dosn't take much to pump it a couple of hundred kilometers farther.
Jim, no politician would commit to fixing fuel prices, nor could they.
Absolutely right Mr.PG. Only the oil companies fix the prices. it has ever been thus and probably always will be.
Well our esteemed Prime Minister is willing to promote Free Trade...where are Hill and Harris sitting with promoting FAIR Trade?? If the good old USA can get what they consider fair lumber prices why can't Shirley Bond and Pat Bell do the same with OUR fuel prices??? Does it cost more to sell fuel in BC than Ottawa??

supertech, it's your thinking that will keep a bad gov't in office. Glenn Clark or Gordon Campbell... yuck. A party or gov't with a bad leader is BAD....get rid of them. I'm not a fan of either party, but I do believe we should vote out a gov't that performs as the Liberals have.
I also believe that the Pattison controlled news is far too kind to Campbell. Drunk driving... can you imagine an NDP leader surviving that?

"but I do believe we should vote out a gov't that performs as the Liberals have"

And vote who in exactly? Carole James and the NDP? Not a chance.
