Prince George, B.C.- The City has said thank you and good bye to four Councillors and Mayor Colin Kinsley.
As the final matter on the agenda this evening, Mayor Kinsley presented gifts to Shirley Gratton, Glenn Scott and Don Zurowski who were not elected and to  Sherry Sethen who opted not to run.
Then it was Councillor Don Bassermann’s turn to thank Colin Kinsley for his years of service. (click on  video icon for clip) Kinsley received a standing ovation from his colleagues and those in the gallery for his years of service and dedication to the City of Prince George.
The ceremony preceded the swearing in of the new Council and Mayor.

Nuthin' like the weight of the world being lifted off yer shoulders. Kinda like a divorce with no kids. No wonder hizzoner is grinning like a Cheshire cat. I would be.
The Mayor comported himself with poise and dignity in my social experiences with him. When I saw him once in Anchorage, I had no idea what he had in store for Alaska's crossroads city!

A truly competitive cousin from our British familial relationship. Good work your Worship!
