New Chair For Cariboo District

Williams Lake - There is a new chair at the helm of the Cariboo Regional District. During its Board last Friday,the CRD Board of Directors elected its new chair and vice chair for the upcoming year. The new chair is Electoral Area G Director, Al Richmond , while Electoral Area A Director Ted Armstrong will assume the duties of vice chair. Richmond will replace outgoing Williams Lake councillor, Jon Wolbers as chair, while vice chair Armstrong will replace former Area C Director Ronda Wilkins.
“I am honoured to have the opportunity to serve as the Cariboo Regional District Board chair,” stated Richmond. “The main challenge that we will be facing over the coming year is the economic climate.
