My heartfelt condolences to the families. Driving a vehicle is a very serious business, especially on our two-lane main highways. Even the slightest miscue puts one into the oncoming traffic.

So sad.
From what I understand the roads were in terrible driving conditions. We have had -30 temps all week and blowing snow. So yes the driving conditions were in my opinion defintely a factor in this accident. Terrible loss to this family. My condolences.
The reports say that driving conditions were not too bad and that speed and alcohol were not factors. We must remember that inexperience behind the wheel may have led to this tragic accident. She was only 17. A real shame. Condolences to friends and family.
I drove those roads, they were not in good shape. Terrible in fact.

To make it sadder, the people in the two different vehicles knew each other. Teacher/Student.

Sad. Very sad.
This is one of those times when words become meaningless. Bless all involved with the courage to carry on.
