Madden Announces Retirement

Prince George, B.C.- After 18 years with the City of Prince George, Community Services Manager, Tom Madden has announced he is retiring.

Madden will leave his post March 27th. ( Tom Madden in the right corner of photo, was on the Team Torino that went to The Olympics in Italy)
“He has taught me a great deal since I started with the City” says City Administrator Derek Bates “I hope to spend a lot of time with Tom in the coming weeks trying to gain as much knowledge as I can .”
Mayor Dan Rogers publicly thanked Madden for his years of dedication to the City and for his work on many projects and events.
Madden says he has been working towards this retirement for a couple of years, “The timing is right” says Tom. Although leaving his post at the City, he will not be leaving Prince George. “I still have a son in university here, so I have no plans on moving.”
