LOL! I can see the Bloods and the Crypts adding a whole new phrase to their lexicon:
"Get outta here before I bust a staple in your ass!"

You know someone died right?
Posted by: tombstone81 on March 10 2009 6:20 PM
Is that a serious question, RUEZ? God forbid Canada's editorial cartoonists should be prohibited from poking a little fun at a tragic incident, to lighten the mood a little bit.
You're not one of those Islamic militants who called for the death of a Danish cartoonist for lampooning Allah, are you?

I don't find it funny.

Wow tombstone you're a freaking genius. Somehow you connected my disdain for this cartoon making light of a mans death with me being an Islamic militant. What are you doing in PG with smarts like that, you should be working with the top minds of the world.

If you were the parent of any of the tazer victims or men/women who have died in that useless war just to help the americans conquer one more country to rape it of its resources, you would not find the cartoon funny either. But...We have to move on and cherish life none the less. The cartoon does have a funny side to it.

I think that this cartoon successfully ridicules the childish, lame and utterly pathetic excuse - of a team of burly heavily armed police - that they all felt mortally threatened by an individual who was just clutching an open stapler to his chest!
"But...We have to move on and cherish life none the less. The cartoon does have a funny side to it. "
Yes, for sure.

As regular people all we have is media to shame the fools of this world.

the real humour in this subject is not the reference to a tragic event, but that it may be the reality when one considers the news about our forces having to scale back due to budget constraints, We may have to arm our armed forced in such a manner.

Hey all...This is off topic but I feel I have to say to you that for the most part it is very refreshing for me to read some of the insights of the people who post on this site. Most of you appear to want to make a difference and change things from what they are to something different and you obviously feel comfortable and free enough to write how you see things and how you feel. This is a place where free press seems to be supported and this is the type of thing that can make a difference over time.....it's just to bad that the words written here could not be heard or read on a much broader scale, like Province wide or Canada wide for that matter.
Good job by Opinion 250 News for allowing the public the opportunity to say it's piece,(this news media needs to expand it's circulation for others to read and participate) maybe we can make a difference.
Keep posting guys, it is important for all of us to hear and read what you have to say whether we like it or not.
