News popularity Contest...The Results Are In.

A recent poll conducted by ABC Communications on their community Internet Directory, Net Bistro (click here to visit), showed Opinion250.Com in the lead as the best liked news provider of the region. Among the contenders were: CBC, CTV, Opinion250.Com, Google, and Kelowna-based Castanet.

Recently we've received many comments from our readers that Opinion250 provides "news sooner and more detailed than any other source locally". It also gives a unique view not found else where...we're considered "hard edge news".

Although not inclusive of all news providers out there, this independent poll has demonstrated once again the feedback we've been receiving.

Congrats. I think you do a good job also, and don't have stories about Dick Harris on the front page every day during elections. The stories you carry are usually ahead of the Citizens stories that they pick off of the net word for word a day later. Keep up the good work.

I am certain this site has become fairly popular for the time it has been on, and gaining ground on a regular basis.
Some posters do get a bit upset, but what the heck-kind of makes some of the subjects pretty controversial, but many intelligent people on this site who certainly give "food for thought" with their comments.
Who says we cannot learn every day????
