Prime Minister Paul Martin has started campaigning already, even though he has yet to  visit with the Governor General to dissolve Parliament and set the date for a vote.  He addressed his Caucus talking about economic growth, the pay down of debt and delivering eight straight  budget surpluses.

"Today in Canada, inflation rates are low,  interest rates are low, its easier to get a good job and that is the direct result of the good management of a Liberal governemnt."

He pointed out the tax cuts,  child care agreements, agreements with cities on infrastructure, post secondary education  programs, and an unprecedented agreement with aboriginals  on housing and health care to close the poverty gaps.

I want equal opportunity .... I want someone from the BLOC running here ....
I think it's ironic that our current Liberal Government leaders actually think they have done a bang up job in running our country.

Kind of sad, isn't it?

They don't even want to acknowledge the mess they have made of things.

Maybe they haven't heard how disappointed we are in the corruption, the scandals and the waste of our tax dollars.

The fact that our Prime Minister makes a comment like "Today in Canada, inflation rates are low, interest rates are low, its easier to get a good job and that is a direct result of the good management of a Liberal Government" scares the heck out of me.

The problem is, he probably really thinks that. Chester
Voting Liberal would be like stopping a mugger that is running away with your wallet and offering him your car keys.
The economic health of Canada and our surpluses have little to do with good management. It is the globel economy and wellbeing that has spurred it on. And that is why the inflation is low, interest rates are low, and it is easier to get a good job.
The PG City Council takes credit for the upswing in the economy ... the BC Liberals take credit for the upturn in the economy ... the Federal Liberals take credit for the upturn in the economy .......

In reality, it is the policy of the USA which is responsible for the upturn in the western world's economy, especially Canada's ....
