Prime Minister Paul Martin has started campaigning already, even though he has yet to visit with the Governor General to dissolve Parliament and set the date for a vote. He addressed his Caucus talking about economic growth, the pay down of debt and delivering eight straight budget surpluses.
"Today in Canada, inflation rates are low, interest rates are low, its easier to get a good job and that is the direct result of the good management of a Liberal governemnt."
He pointed out the tax cuts, child care agreements, agreements with cities on infrastructure, post secondary education programs, and an unprecedented agreement with aboriginals on housing and health care to close the poverty gaps.
