Prince George, B.C.- A 21 year old man is facing charges following an incident on the weekend  on Andres Road.

RCMP were called to a disturbance in the 2900 block of Andres Road just before 3:00 Saturday morning. When police arrived, they found a 1 7 year old female suffering from numerous stab wounds. None of the wounds were life threatening. She was taken to Hospital for treatment.

Police now say Dean Phillip Bessette is facing charges of unlawful confinement, sexual assault, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and uttering threats. Bessette remains in custody and will appear in court July 6^th.
