Prince George, B.C. -  There were no injuries after an aircraft made an emergency landing at the Prince George Airport around 3:30 this afternoon.

Airport officials say a medevac flight had just taken off from YXS when it declared an emergency.  Mike Davis with the Prince George Airport Authority says the plane was carrying four passengers at the time of the incident.  Davis says emergency crews were called out as a precaution.

"We are very pleased with the timing and how the groups responded.  Everyone was here in a fast manner and prepared for anything that might have occurred, but at this time there have been no incidents reported and all is fine for now."

The aircraft managed to land safety approximately 20 minutes after the initial emergency was declared.  Officials say no other details are being released pending the completion of an investigation into the incident.

IMO our first 747 will likely be an emergency landing... wouldn't it be ironic if it was a plane from New York to Asia and our WTC fire engine was one the scene to save the day lol it would be the best publicity this city ever got....
