The Cameron Street Bridge before.......and after
Prince George, B.C. - One bridge done, another on the way. The Simon Fraser Twin span opened yesterday and later this morning, many of the same who officially opened that crossing will be on hand for the official opening of the Cameron Street bridge.
The new Nechako River crossing has been long awaited by those who live on the north side of the River and who want a faster, two way bridge to get to the heart of downtown.
The ceremonies are set for 10:00 this morning, but the bridge won’t be accessible to traffic until later this afternoon.

Woo Hoo, can hardly wait, I have missed that bridge everyday on the way home from work.

Ironically I take it (along with Carney street, then either 15th or 20th to get me to Victoria), because there is no left off of highway 97 as mentioned in an earlier article today.
In the Grand scheme of things. IDL did a good job on it. Took a little while to get going on it, but finished it off quickly.

IDL sure are going guns a blazing on that Domano intersection. Good.

Looks like they opened the Simon Fraser Bridge weeks early. I suppose they wanted to do both bridges, and get the photo ops out of the way, and get out of dodge.
