Connolly Scores Hat Trick in Cougars Victory

Brett Connolly led the way for the Cats  in their 7-6  win over the Chilliwack Bruins last night.  Connolly had  three goals, including one shorthanded.

The Cougars took charge early, leading 4-0 midway thru the 1st period and 6-1 midway thru the 2nd.

PG natives Ryan Howse and Brandon Manning each had a goal and an assist for the Bruins. Chilliwack outshot the guests 35-26. James Priestner made 29 saves for the victory.

The 2-2 Cougars conclude a 3-game, 3-day road trip tonight (Sunday) in Portland.
