Prince George, B.C. - Prince George’s first professional soccer team will be known as the Fury. After receiving plenty of great suggestions, the owners of the team, the Mehrassa family, chose the name Fury.

 

The Mehrassa family said they chose the name Fury for a couple of reasons "First of all when we were watching the first practice we were both amazed at the number of people who attended and were surprised at the pace of the practice which was very fast and furious. So we both agreed that Fury reflected the way we saw the team. Also, of all the names and logo ideas the ones that seemed to best reflect the team, the action and at the same time complement each other, that is the name and the logo, was the Fury."

 

The Prince George Fury is also excited to announce its finalized schedule for the season:
