Curling Kick Off Party Invite

Prince George, B.C.-  The invitation has been issued for you to check out the  set up for the Road to the Roar curling event set for the CN Centre this week.

Tonight, the Road to the Roar Committee is inviting everyone to head to the CN Center at 7 p.m. for a special event that will feature some celebrity curlers, including Whitney Warren and Frank La Bounty, members of the 2009 Canadian Wheel Chair Curling Championship team.

The teams will be augmented by Road to the Roar curlers including the Amber Holland team from Kronau Saskatchewan.

Admission to this evening’s event is free.

24  teams ( 12 male, 12 female) will be  competing this week in Prince George for the right to  move on to the “Roar of the Rings” Olympic qualifying event to be  held in Edmonton.
