Men:

Jason Gunnlaugson of Beausejour, Manitoba defeats Mike McEwen of Winnipeg, 8-7 in an extra end to win the first men's C final of the pre-Trials Road to the Roar in Prince George.

He now advances to the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings Canadian Curling Trials, December 6-13 in Edmonton.

The second men's C final, live on TSN at 5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET, features Bob Ursel of Kelowna against Toronto's Wayne Middaugh, who eliminated Jean-Michel Menard of St. Romuald, Quebec, 8-7 in an extra end in a C semi-final this morning.  The winner will also advance to the Roar of the Rings in Edmonton.

Men's A final winner - Jeff Stoughton, Winnipeg
Men's B final winner - Pat Simmons, Davidson, Saskatchewan
Men's first C final winner - Jason Gunnlaugson, Beausejour, Manitoba

Women:

Kelly Scott of Kelowna defeats Sherry Middaugh of Coldwater, Ontario, 9-4 in the first women's C final of the pre-Trials Road to the Roar in Prince George.

She now advances to the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings Canadian Curling Trials, December 6-13 in Edmonton.

In the second women's C final, live on TSN at 6:30 pm PT/9:30 pm ET, Amber Holland of Kronau, Saskatchewan will play Marie-France Larouche of St. Romuald, Quebec.  The winner will also advance to the Roar of the Rings in Edmonton.

Women's A final winner - Crystal Webster, Calgary
Women's B final winner - Krista McCarville, Thunder Bay
Women's first C final winner - Kelly Scott, Kelowna

IMO this will be the last large curling event in PG for many years to come. The lack of fans was pathetic and showed what a non sports city PG is on TSN.
